We take security seriously at Homestead Self Storage. Security isn't just solid locks. It's in everything here - from our storage spaces to video surveillance cameras throughout.
Surveillance Cameras
Surveillance cameras at entrances provide a physical description of people and vehicles entering and exiting the facility. In combination with gate access and door alarms, a complete history of the facility is recorded.
Brightly Lit Drives
Brightly Lit drives, hallways and units add additional security and convenience for you and your belongings.
Gate Access Controls
Gate Access Controls keep unauthorized persons out while allowing tenants easy access to their spaces. Times and dates of entry are recorded.
Barrel Locks
Barrel Locks on doors recess into the door, leaving nothing to cut, and the cylinder keys are virtually impossible to pick. Inexpensive pad locks are easily picked and normal pad locks are easy to cut with bolt cutters.
All Security Locks can be out-fitted with more secure cylinder locks. Only you have the key so make sure you lock up!
Resident Store Managers regularly walk the property to check that all units are locked. As you have the only key, you will be alerted if you forgot to lock up.
